Rachel Van Dyk
Rachel has just completed her second year of coaching after finishing up her volleyball career at Michigan State University in the fall of 2017. She holds the all-time career assist record at MSU and ranks ninth all-time in career service aces. A two-year team captain for the Spartans, Rachel is a two-time AVCA All-American and First Team Academic All-American - one of only four Division I volleyball players to receive both honors in 2017. Rachel helped lead her team to an Elite 8 finish in 2017, MSU’s highest finish since 1995.
In high school, Rachel played at Sports Performance, one of the top setter-training clubs in the country, where she acted as Program Captain over all SPVB teams during the 2013-14 season. Her 18-Elite team won the 2014 18 Open National Championship, and Rachel was named MVP of the tournament.
Rachel is excited to begin a new chapter in coaching and training. She has acquired a lot of volleyball knowledge, both technical and tactical, over the course of her career and can’t wait to share her knowledge with rising players. In the summer of 2018, Rachel traveled around the country leading high school volleyball camps with the All-American Camp organization.
